CONFLICT /CHALLENGING BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT

 

The conflict management course is delivered in 1 day, based on a training needs analysis to determine the appropriate level of training in relation to the risks faced in the working environment.


Each conflict management course is designed specifically to reflect the needs of the individual client and to meet their learning objectives.

IN HOUSE TRAINING & OPEN COURSES

If you have a group of learners you would like us to deliver conflict management training to, we offer in-house group courses (min. 5 learners) for clients throughout the South West.

The conflict resolution course can be delivered either at the client’s own workplace or at a training facility we will provide close by.

In-house conflict management & resolution courses are run at the convenience of our clients; including weekends where required.

Conflict Management & Resolution Course - £95.00 + vat per learner.

Fees are all inclusive of conflict management course materials, tuition, course handouts & certification.

Discount on our conflict resolution course list price may be available for larger groups or multiple bookings.

Objective 

This is a one day theoretical course and is an awareness course for those staff from secretaries to receptionists, shop floor workers to benefit officers, in fact this one Day course is for any individual dealing with conflict within the working environment. Within this one day course, participants will gain knowledge and enhance skills of awareness in managing and resolving conflict.

  • What is Aggression and Violence.
  • How Reactive, Instrumental and Pathological Aggression is displayed.
  • Causes of Aggression within the context of the working environment.
  • Physical signs of aggression we see in a hostile person.
  • Communication skills and the importance of how we present ourselves through both verbal and non verbal responses.
  • Legal Aspects and what would/could happen if we got it wrong.
  • Case examples relevant to the working environment
  • How we gain support and assistance if required.
  • Risk assessments and reviewing after the event.
